Protection From Abuse Order

A protection from abuse order is a court order that is issued and signed by a judge and tells the abuser to stop the abuse or face serious legal consequences. It offers civil legal protection from domestic violence for both male and female victims.

How to File for Service

A protection order is received by our office either by the plaintiff, courts from another jurisdiction or Sheriff Office in Pennsylvania and/or from another state. This order will have instructions as to whom and where service to be made. The Deputy will prepare an affidavit of service.
